Description

Not every idea that sounds spiritual is rooted in the truth God has revealed in Jesus. Throughout the church’s history, well-intended teachings, traditions, and assumptions have sometimes shaped the way people understand the Christian life in ways that don’t fully reflect what God has actually revealed.

That’s why, in this series, we’ve been slowing down to examine certain beliefs and practices — not to be critical, and not to question the core truths of our faith — but to ask a careful and necessary question: Does this align with what God has revealed in Christ?

This week, we turn that question toward something many believers wrestle with: the will of God.

For many people, God’s will can feel like a puzzle to solve — as though there is a single perfect path hidden somewhere ahead of us, and one wrong decision could take us off course. That way of thinking can leave believers anxious, constantly trying to decode what God wants them to do next.

In this teaching, we look at what Scripture actually reveals about God’s will and how that understanding reshapes the way we approach decisions, direction, and everyday life.
