Most people feel pretty good about the command, "Do not murder."

After all, it's probably safe to say most of us have never murdered anyone... hopefully!

But Jesus uses this command to expose something deeper. Looking at His teaching in the Sermon on the Mount, we discover that hatred, resentment, and contempt can take root in the heart long before they are ever expressed in our actions.

This message explores God's invitation to let go of what poisons our hearts and pursue reconciliation with others.

It invites us to consider:
Are we merely avoiding the wrong actions, or allowing God to transform what is happening within?
