Want to live near the beach with a great warm climate? This is one reason why living in Gulfport, MS is a good place to live. Low cost of living, great food culture, friendly people. What more can you ask for.
Gulfport is not on the typical radar, many people pass it up for destinations crowded in Florida or along the Atlantic Coast. Too bad for them, the rest of us love Gulfport for so many reasons. Take a drive on U.S. 90 through the city and see the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and white sand beaches.
This is a great place for military retirees, to shop at the Navy Seabee base and use the VA hospital. The low cost of housing and utilities will help with your retirement budget.
