I have a big request, you guys - I need some MALE people to give their perspective on menopause -
I'm really doing it - I've been talking about the Menopause Panel since November/December, and it's finally happening. I'm so excited for these conversations, and to help people feel empowered and not feel broken when their body is changing in ways we aren't expecting; that we are not alone, and we don't need to quietly suffer with the changes.
In talking, we learn ways that have helped others, and gain a community of support.
In my own journey, I've lost a marriage, a partner, most of my self esteem and my home. It wasn't ALL menopause, but because by the time I figured out what was happening, it was too late. I want a better understanding about what goes on on the other side, a better understanding FOR the other side, and I want a better outcome for others.
Also, I appreciate your patience as I'll probably take a couple of weeks off of recording while I move in August. There will most likely be adventures to report on once I'm settled!
