Professor Stark coined the term ‘coercive and controlling behaviour’ which now appears on statute books across the world and is a recognised criminal offence in many jurisdictions. Together they debunk myths and examine the impact of coercive control on the lives of children as well as how family courts across the world have failed to properly address coercive control.
