Dr. Heather Kvitko-White is a board-certified veterinary internist who has experienced a range of ways to be a veterinarian from academia to private practice to owning her own consulting company called KW Veterinary Consulting to teaching a creative common-sense approach to animal care without sacrificing quality (i.e. pragmatic medicine).

Like many veterinarians, from a young age she was an achiever who got to the point where she didn’t have a plan in her career. She believes in having a team of advisors and isn’t afraid to establish boundaries to live out her values.
