How do we prove we KNOW God?
Knowing God is not important… If God doesn’t exist.
What if his existence is the most important thing that matters?
The point is clear… we must know God!
But how can we really know that we know Him?

Test #1: Do I obey God’s commands?
• 1 John 3:23 (NIV)
Person 1 = Someone who falsely claims to know God.
Person 2 = Someone who truly knows and obeys God.
Obedience is tied to knowing and loving God.
When we continuously obey God’s word, we will draw nearer to
Him. We will love Him more… we will know Him more!
How did Jesus walk/obey?
• Believing and trusting God
• Worshipping and praying to God
• Fellowshipping and communing with God/Others
• Giving and sacrificing everything to God
• Seeking and following after God
• Teaching and telling others about God
• Loving and caring for others
• Laying down his life for others
• Obeying all of God's commands
