Obedience is greater than my own competency. Obedience is trusting Jesus, competency is trusting myself. When it comes down to it, our Fully Alive life sees significant growth when we obey… when we step out of the boat. In those “small moments” Jesus is preparing us for something greater, but it all hinges on our obedience in that moment. Obedience opens doors and unlocks blessings. Obedience deeps our faith, and expands our comfort zones.
Obedience is how we love God best and how God grows us most.
