This week we are in for a treat. Dr. Richard Sugg is an accomplished author with 13 published books. His works have appeared in The Guardian, BBC History, Der Spiegel and The New Yorker. He has only recently ventured into the podcast arena with Dark Mysteries from the Secret University. He has a new book out now, and I've linked to it in the show.
***Full disclosure - Most of my audio editing time went to reduce the volume on the many places where I laughed like a hyena :) Also, Dr. Sugg touches upon politics three times and Curious Cat is allergic to the topic - because this show is all about the things which bring us together - but in the context of the story of his book and our discussion about animals being the great human mediators, I left those parts largely untouched.
