Kendall Emphasis, NYC-based musical artist and producer, joins us on the show to discuss their artistic practice, which is rooted in their desire to express queer experiences through music, drawing inspiration from Black American music, art, folklore, and spirituality. Their goal is to create sonic worlds that contribute to community, healing, and liberation.
