Today, meet my friend Lizzie. Lizzie is super cool. Earlier this year, Lizzie was angry, overwhelmed, disheartened and ________ with the state of the world (fill-in-the-blank with any/all the exhausted words). So Lizzie decided to do something. Lizzie boiled a pot of spaghetti noodles, sauced them up and invited friends to her house to share their hopes and fears for our country. And now Lizzie hosts a 'protest potluck' every month for anyone who can show up.
But don't worry - we aren't talking politics in this episode. We're talking about what it takes to organize one of these for yourself - even if, or maybe especially if, it sounds intimidating. Or, if - like my friend Lizzie - you sometimes experience social anxiety and would rather just stay home.
I hope you'll tune in and listen - and maybe even try a potluck of your own making! If you do, I'd love to hear about it!
I'd love to hear what you think. Drop me a text (linked above) or an email: meagan@meaganschultz.com
