Ep. 90 -
'If we don't try, we can't fail' is what our survival brain tells us.
In other words, not trying feels ‘safer’ emotionally and mentally, than trying and 'failing'.
However, in reality, that's not the case.
Not trying is guaranteeing we won't achieve the outcome.
We tell ourselves that because we didn't try, we haven't failed.
We haven't wasted any time or effort in trying.
But is it really 'wasted'? Zero use?
And actually, not trying, could simply be considered choosing to fail.
Which when you really think about it, is perhaps the most disappointing thing of all.
