Had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with the up-and-coming local writer Marino Begman.
Marino talks about her time growing up in Australia before moving back to NZ and living in a 3-bedroom house in Pakuranga and discovering her love of writing. She talks about her non de plume and how she went from studying psychology to starting a writing course at NorthTec to winning awards and facing her biggest challenge yet............working on her first full length novel.
Marino isn't afraid of being open and honest with her struggles as a writer and how she finds it hard at times, but continues to persevere. A truly wonderful conversation with a talented writer on the rise.
