As Paul recounts Jesus' victorious death and resurrection in 1 Corinthians 15, he specifically says that it was in accordance with the Scriptures (vv. 3-4). Over the next year as we preach through the Old Testament, we will be using 1 Corinthians 15 as a guide for our celebration of communion as we look at how Jesus fulfilled the promises made by God throughout the Old Testament.
