"Taxi Driver" is a 1976 American neo-noir psychological thriller film directed by Martin Scorsese and written by Paul Schrader. The film follows Travis Bickle, a mentally unstable Vietnam War veteran played by Robert De Niro, who becomes a taxi driver in New York City. As he becomes increasingly disillusioned with the city's seedy underbelly, he decides to take matters into his own hands, leading to a violent and disturbing descent into madness. The film also features Jodie Foster as Iris, Harvey Keitel as Sport, and Cybill Shepherd as Betsy.
