Laurie talks about how our 'normal' addictions are showing up during this time of the pandemic, sheltering in place, and social distancing. We often think of addictions as tobacco, alcohol, drugs, food, sugar, caffeine, but don't have the same feelings towards addictions such as working to much, being busy, going to the gym, care-giving, drama, technology, avoidance. Our emotions are taking a heavy hit right now, making many feel overwhelmed with present and what the future might look like. Laurie gives 10 tips to help deal with overwhelm that often comes during times such as where we are right now. She also talks about how the universe is giving us the opportunity to view our addictions and the behaviors of acceptance we've built around these that may no longer be true for us.
