Description

Sometimes, we really strive to get a lot of info on our prospects, to the point of drowning in data.

In the era of Big Data, where information is abundant and easily accessible, it's tempting to gather as much data as possible about prospects and clients. After all, more data theoretically means better insights, right? Not necessarily. The adage "less is more" holds true, especially when it comes to managing data about your prospects or customers.

While it's certainly important to have a comprehensive understanding of your prospects and clients, collecting excessive amounts of data can lead to information overload and analysis paralysis. Businesses and marketers often find themselves drowning in a sea of data, struggling to extract meaningful insights amidst the noise. This phenomenon, known as data glut, can be counterproductive and hinder rather than enhance decision-making processes.
