Episode 29 of the Steelers Sanctuary Podcast is out. It’s time for Dave and I to give our thoughts on what was one of the ugliest losses in the Mike Tomlin era. I give my reasons why I believe the Steelers have a plan that is destined to fail this season.
We start with the poor performance of both lines. The bullies became the bullied on Sunday as both lines were dominated. The Steelers will never be able to “impose their will” when they lose in the trenches this badly.
Next we question both the quarterback, and coaching situations in Pittsburgh. Both failed miserably against the 49ers. The linebackers and secondary weren’t spared for their bad performances either.
