Episode 53 of the Steelers Sanctuary Podcast is out. This is a special emergency podcast to discuss the firing of offensive coordinator Matt Canada. Dave and I give our two cents into this historic firing by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
We discuss who ultimately made the decision on the move Mike Tomlin or Art Rooney. If it was Mr. Rooney, it could have a lasting affect on future contract negotiations with Tomlin.
The topic of who might be the next full time coordinator is next on the docket. We both give a few names of possible interest to the Steelers. Some names we don’t want to see include Ben Roethlisberger, and Byron Leftwich.
The pod wraps up with us discussing Kenny Pickett’s future. There are no more excuses for the Steelers quarterback. We need to find out if Pickett is the guy to move forward with in the coming weeks.
