Today’s Costa Mesa Pod features the Orange County Model Engineers and the FREE train rides at Goathill Junction! They are known for their monthly train rides on the the third weekend of each month from 10am-3:30pm each Saturday & Sunday. This non-profit has a winding railroad track that covers close to 5 miles throughout the stunning mesa at Goathill Junction (right by Fairview Park). Railroad buffs are welcome to become a member and volunteer. Parties and other events are also available. The train rides are famous in Costa Mesa and beyond and certainly a well- ingrained tradition for the community. They can be found on Instagram at @ocme_trains.
