As if all that wasn’t enough, we will be presenting a special podcast, dropping on Thursday night (3.9), featuring local filmmaker Andrew Taylor where we will be discussing THE 95TH ACADEMY AWARDS, more specifically, the ten films nominated for best picture as well as the actors, writers and craftspeople who have the talent and chutzpah to be voted by their peers as the best of 2022. With any luck at all I will not get slapped for inappropriate comments. (But you never know).
Two important dates to circle on your wall calendar, if you still use one like I do:
CASABLANCA, the final screening, Wednesday night at 7. Show up looking like Bogey, Ilsa, Sidney, Peter Lorre, Sam, Louie or Paul and get a free popcorn. Anyone sporting a Fez gets a soda too!
The final circle on you calendar, and please use green ink, is THE GOTHARD SISTERS live on our stage, Thursday night, March 16, at 7pm. That is the day before St Paddy’s, tickets are still available at Farawayentertainment.com. Follow the link and come on out and join us for some terrific traditional Irish folk music by three delightfully talented sisters from Ireland (by way of Edmonds).
