AAAAAAnd good afternoon, ladies & gentlemen, we're back for another exciting edition of Coming Attractions (CA). Today, being October 18th and still a smokey, balmy, altogether perfect day for an indoor matinee (let's sing that one together) we have the following news to bring joy to your world:  Amsterdam, a long-time favorite destination of students, artists and seekers of alternative realities, but also a rather logistically tedious and somewhat expensive trip, will magically appear on our big screen (all 360 sq ft of it) Friday night at 6:45. Yay! But first:

Railway Children and The Good House continue through Thursday at 4:30 (Railway) and 6:30 (House). If you are interested in my pair of cents, not to be confused with common sense, give todays podcast a quick listen. What is ten minutes of your day to glean my opinion of both films and how YOU actually hold the keys to their, and our, success?

Now that I have called in janitorial to clean up the spilled beans in aisle 20, here is Fridays schedule: God's Creatures, an Irish drama of family ties and a mother (Oscar nominee Emma Watson) who sins in public for private truths. It runs 99 minutes and is Rated R.  A Rotten Tomatoes critic has called it "a masterclass in Rural Gothic." Not being entirely sure of what that means I, like you, will have to sit and see to find out.  It is produced by A-24 studios, the current industry darlings for cutting edge cinema, providing such fan favorites as Marcel the Shell, Everything, Everywhere All at One, Macbeth and one of my favorites from the HLT year in film, the 2022 ranking of which is currently in progress and soon to be released, the Scandinavian horror film Lamb.

The second bill on Fridays debut is the above-mentioned Amsterdam, directed by David O Russell, he of American Hustle, The Fighter, I heart Huckabees and Three KIngs fame. As mentioned in the 'cast Three KIngs is destined to become a cult classic.

God's Creatures plays at 4:45 Friday with Amsterdam at 6:45. Sat & Sun we add an early matinee, God's Creatures at 2:45 and then Amsterdam at 4:45 and 7:15.

As always your comments are appreciated and I personally screen every message. Leave yours by calling 206.451.4336 - 24/7.

Special of the week is our popular Peach Cider, marked all the way down from $6.50 to its (supplies are limited) incredible price of $4.00. Give Cherry or Kerry a fiver and you'll have a buck left over to drop in our Restoration Drive tip jar. Where every dollar counts!

All for today folks. Hope to see you at the HLT.
