Hi Folks, this is the Historic Lynwood movie line podcast. It is the second generation data flow, replacing the outdated land-line, which was both time consuming and expensive. Modern technology and an all volunteer staff being the new normal. Please feel free to leave your comments, suggestions, correspondence or advice on our Facebook site or at our Far Away Entertainment.com home page. Be sure to select the Historic Lynwood as your preference.
The good news is that we will continue with See How They Run for another week. It will now play through next Thursday, 9.29. Show times are 4:45 & 6:45 daily and 2:45, 4:45 & 6:45 on Sat & Sun. Here is the BIG NEWS:
On Saturday, 9.24 we will host Islander Zach Ingrasci's World Premiere of his production company's latest short, Free to Care, at 5pm. Tickets are available at Eventbright.com. We invite you to come and support the important work being done by Zach. You can also hear his story on our virtual visit here as podcast episode #113. Therefore, the Saturday, Sept, 25 schedule looks like this: See How They Run at 2:45 followed by Free to Care, which includes introduction and post screening Q&A with Zach and Co, plus special guest speaker, local Congresswoman Tara Simmons. All this starting at 5. Lastly we'll screen a late showing of See How They Run at 7.
Also please remember that the giant glass vase by the cash register has a sign reading: HISTORIC LYNWOOD RENOVATION FUND, with all donations going towards this goal. Thanks to the generous folks who have already donated and a reminder to those that haven't yet dropped a dime, of the importance of the HLT to our community. We are, indeed, here for you.
Lastly please have a listen to our podcast from yesterday with local executive producer (and rock star) Steve Hall as we discuss everything from the grunge scene in Seattle (and Bainbridge) to his upcoming doc called Wildcat.
Thanks and hope to see you soon!
Kevin
