Before my transition, I learned about masculinity from those around me. I had an idea in my head about what it meant to be a man - to be tough and take care of my family and be the breadwinner, but I was so wrong. After I transitioned, I had to unlearn what I knew and relearn that masculinity is different for everyone, and there are levels to it. In this episode of Dem Bois Podcast, I answer the questions: 1. what has it been like being seen and treated as a Black man, and 2. how has your definition of masculinity changed or evolved?
