Jesus compared Himself to a grain of wheat that falls to the ground and dies to produce many seeds (John 12:24). His death wasn't just about forgiveness - it was reproduction. Through salvation we receive His actual divine nature (His spiritual DNA), making us genuine children of God who share His life, characteristics and inheritance (Romans 8:16-17). We're not just saved from sin; we're new creations (2 Corinthians 5:!7), carrying the very nature and life of Christ Himself (Colossians 1:17, 1 John 3:2).
