This piece started life as a "typo" - It was meant to be "Don't be flattered"
The idea was a reflection of how some dreadful employers who tell their hard working employees how indispensable they are - but continue to treat them appallingly - and get away with their false flattery.
But maybe if you think of it as a warning to those badly treated workers it makes more sense- don't get steamrollered by these bosses - don't be flattened
