I fundamentally don't get it - Halloween that is . Until I read up about it I just thought it was gimmick dreamt up by some marketing guru.
It is apparently a Celtic festival extending back into the times when the New Year began in November after the harvest.
It was believed to be a time when the world of ghosts met the world of the living - I'm not good at that stuff so todays tune is about that move between the spirit world and the living world - which I find terrifying.
