Many of us who have been followers of Christ for more than a decade are seeing trends within churches that are very concerning. There have always been major differences among believers in areas of doctrine and practice, distinctives so diverse that it seems impossible to imagine there is one universal Body of Christ.
There were struggles even during the later decades of the 1st century church, and God wrote His letters to the seven churches of Asia Minor as a message, not only for them, but for all believers who would follow until the Day of the Return of Jesus Christ.
This was the Revelation of Jesus Christ, given to John the Apostle as a prophetic word concerning past, present, and future things in regard to the Church, God's Jewish Remnant, Judgment of the ungodly, and the glorious Return of the Messiah, Jesus Christ!
In view of the times and of the prophetic word that seems more relevant today than in any previous generation, we must understand God's message and make every effort to live in obedience to its directives, while looking earnestly for the coming of our Lord & Savior. "Behold, He is coming..."
