Once again we find ourselves in the Christmas season. All sorts of thoughts and emotions come our way this time of year. Some have experienced great joys, others have felt deep pain, and still others just feel like they're plugging along. Wherever we find ourselves, we are faced again with the news of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, coming to live as a man. What a paradox! I wonder if you have considered afresh or for the first time the staggering reality of the Light of the world coming to enter into our darkness? God invites us through the Scriptures to consider and believe on his Son, the Word made flesh. May we fix our hope on Him and truly have a Merry Christmas!
