Throughout our lifetime we have been celebrating Mother's Day. It is good and a worthy thing to offer respect and gratitude for those dear women who not only brought Life into the world, but who also sacrificed much to provide nurturing, love, and health in raising up little ones toward adulthood.
Today, we're looking at a woman who greatly desired to be a mom, but was unable to bear children. Her life was complicated and sad, and her heart was heavy with despair; in her world, not having children marked a woman as being under God's discipline. She became bitter, filled with anguish, and yet something brought about a complete change in her life!
Through what seemed as the darkest experience, she learned this wonderful news - Yes, God cares! He knew everything, and offered her a place of refuge and rest, and best of all restoration. Her life became meaningful and filled with purpose as she surrendered everything unto His care. The same can be said of anyone. To realize the accessible power of the Living God, Who cares for us, is a Life-changer! Yes, Jesus cares for your...He really does!
