Mulder begrudgingly humors Scully's interest in a case of ghostly rape at a convalescent home. The elderly there are not what they expected to find as many of them are surprisingly active and coherent - seemingly without a need for care. As orderlies begin to die and the behaviors of the residents get stranger, the agents uncover a mystical and dangerous secret.
