Thanksgiving Margarita
Crafted by renowned mixologist Naren Young, this Pumpkin Spice Margarita marries the bold flavors of tequila with the comforting spices of the season. This is the perfect cocktail to enjoy with family on Thanksgiving.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon sea salt
- 1 lime wedge
- 1.5 oz. reposado tequila
- 0.25 oz. allspice dram
- 0.25 oz. ounce amaretto
- 1 oz. pumpkin puree
- 0.75 oz. lime juice, freshly squeezed
- 0.5 oz. agave nectar
- Garnish: roasted pumpkin slice
Directions:
- On a small plate, combine the ground ginger and sea salt. Rub the lime wedge along half of the rim of a rocks glass and dip the glass in the mixture. (For a finer texture, pound the ginger and sea salt with a mortar and pestle.)
- Add the tequila, allspice dram, amaretto, pumpkin puree, lime juice and agave nectar into a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.
- Strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish with a roasted pumpkin slice.
