We are continuing our study of the end times. You say Why Podcast Preacher? I say because you will be blessed, considering that the term or activity of watching as described and commanded in the bible is listed over 30 places in the bible, and that reading the book of Revelation and studying the end times is a hedge against the great deception which is now being played out over all the earth. You can dial into many of my 2025 through 2026 messages if you need to get caught up. People are most caught off guard because of self-induced ignorance, or unbelief.
Rev 1:1-3 - 1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John, 2 who bore witness to the word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.
Rev 22:7 - 7 “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
No other book in the bible makes this declaration about itself. We cannot keep what we do not know.
OK on to the term Elohim which will be the only subject of this message because it is a large subject that is not studied by most Christians. In fact I have never heard a message like this come from any pulpit in the land.
In this next definition of the word “Elohim” I learned that the word applied to more than just God depending on the context in which the words were used. I will define each of what this word Elohim means, but do not get thrown off if you have been taught that it only applies to God this would be a scriptural mistake. A good source book which inspired me to include the name or title of Elohim is titled “The Divine Council: The Mystery of God’s Governance of Heaven And Earth written by Robert Phillips. The term Elohim appears up to 2700 times in the Hebrew old testament bible depending on textual traditions and again depending on context it can refer to more than just God. But make no mistake God and God alone is God and is above all that has been created:
ELOHIM – AS GOD - Elohim (אֱלֹהִים) is a grammatically plural Hebrew title in the Hebrew Bible that fundamentally designates "God," "supreme power," or "mighty ones".
