Season 1, Episode 12 - In 2006, a pastor introduced the idea of a 21-day fast from complaining. Over 6.2 million people have taken the challenge. Those who have taken the challenge have found the joys and challenges of learning to live a complaint-free life.
In today's episode, we look at how easy it is to fall into complaining and what we can do to live a healthier and happier life. We look at the why of complaining and how complaining is often about seeking validation and attention - two things we all need. But complaining raises our cortisol and blood pressure and the more we do it the more our brain looks for things to complain about.
