Season 1, Episode 15 - It is fall and fall is a busy time for clergy.  Is it busier this year?  Maybe...because it feels like the first "normal" fall since 2019.  So will you be too busy?  Instead of overfunctioning, how might we do things differently this year?

In today's episode, we look at how leadership development builds a foundation that moves clergy out of overfunctioning and into growth, both personally and professionally.  Think you need to do it all?  Think again.

Leadership development (the easy type):
1. Knowing your current leaders and growing their leadership.
2. Getting your current leaders' support and help in identifying and mentoring new leaders.

Mentoring Process:
I do – you watch
I do – you help
You do -I help
You do – I watch

We also look at:  A wellness practice of the week, What is making this week good, and a  Mindfulness Meditation.

Today's Mindfulness Meditation:1 Samuel 7:12 -
Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the Lord has helped us.”
