4. Social factors
Worst Practices:
1. Take the complaint personally.
2. Read and ruminate about anonymous complaints.
3. Put the complainer in charge.
Best Practices:
1. Don't take it personally but take it (somewhat) seriously.
2. Ask: What is helpful here?
3. Don't magnify the importance of the complaint.
4. Get regular encouragement.
