This is the story of the murder of Dr. Brigitte Curtis in Lubbock, Texas in August of 2023. Dr. Curtis was murdered by her own son, Peter Martinelli, in her front yard, in broad daylight. Dr. Curtis was a huge part of the mental health community in Lubbock, and we thought her story should be told. Dr. Curtis was a very special woman who will forever be missed by her family, friends, and the community. This is just the beginning... there's a long way to go with this case, and we will be following up.
