Are you tending to your needs as a parent? Your relationship with yourself and how you take care of your needs has an impact on your relationships with those around you (especially your kids) — even and especially during these unprecedented times.
In this episode, I am joined by parenting coach, Nic Strack. Nic (pronouns: they/them) is a brilliant, hilarious, awkward-as-fuck human, who’s proud to be an autistic trans non-binary queer parent of color. They’ve created a bespoke parenting framework which guides parents to custom create their own parenting styles, in order to make conscious choices with confidence and grace.
Nic shares how they learned to be invested in their relationship with themself and what it means to continually do the work of unlearning the belief that you and your needs don’t matter. Nic also discusses the 5 c’s of bespoke parenting and their advice for supporting your family during this time.

You can't stay on your own side if you don't know what your needs are in the first place. Tend is a 12-week season where you'll learn to notice and name your needs, build unshakeable trust that they're legitimate, and stay by your own side, even when everything in you wants to self-abandon.
