In this episode of the podcast, we ask the question: “Are squats and deadlifts essential in a strength training routine?” The short answer is yes—but not in the way you might think. This episode breaks down these movements, explores why someone might opt out of them, highlights the importance of unilateral training, and explains why your goals matter when designing a strength program.
