Today on the podcast, we reveal the truth about fad diets. For the most part, fad diets are very restrictive with a lot of promotion around promises of rapid weight loss and other health “benefits” with no scientific backing. These diets focus on some food groups while restricting others, which is not sustainable in the long term. In this episode, we share our opinions on the most popular fad diets and tie in some important research. The truth is, by eating well overall and focusing on movement and strength training, you can achieve a healthy body composition without resorting to drastic measures.
