Siri interviews her Mom, Christine, who just turned 70 and has lived a life committed to seeking truth and helping others. She quietly has dedicated herself, overcoming personal health obstacles along the way and working in groups for the betterment of the whole.
Christine Fead grew up seeking spirituality and peace at a young age. She practiced yoga, being vegetarian, and was introduced to Sikhism. She opened her own healing center she ran for 15 years where she developed a 3 year clairvoyant and healing program, offering healing clinics and readings.
One morning, she realized she could not use her left leg and discovered she had had a stroke. After a year she recovered full use of her leg and decided with her husband to close her center and moved West to be closer to her grown children and grandchildren.
Christine studies history and its patterns, using her voice within our representative democracy to address issues like Pentagon spending billions in war readiness but not sex trafficking prevention. She lobbies with the Quakers in Washington D.C, and state-wide Zoom calls, visiting her members of Congress, regularly writing letters to the editor, and seeing turning points where choices being made impact the state of the world. Her passion for preserving participatory democracy is what motivates her in these troubled times.
