In this session, we dive into the story of Solomon and the construction of the Temple. Solomon, the son of David, becomes known for his wisdom and skillful leadership as the king of Israel. Solomon builds the magnificent Temple in Jerusalem, the place where God's presence dwells among His people. As we explore the significance of the Temple, we reflect on the sacrificial system and the need for a permanent substitute to cover sins. Later, Solomon's disobedience, particularly in taking many wives, leads to his downfall and God's anger. We witness the consequences of Solomon's sin and how it ultimately results in the future division of the kingdom.
