Why is it that we think nothing about spending money on restaurants, vacations and entertainment but then suddenly get skeptical when it comes to giving to the church? After all, the call to give a portion of our finances to the church is something directly supported by the Scriptures meaning that it's God's command for us to give, and not just the greediness of the local pastor. So why does God ask for our money? If He's the Creator of the universe and controls everything... what need does He have of our hard-earned money?
