The Apostle Paul speaks of those in opposition as being enemies of the "cross of Christ." That core phrase sits at the center of Christianity. We only follow Christ. There is a commitment to the truth that Paul brought to the Philippian church. He says, "Whatsoever things are true [or pure]... think on these things" (Phil 4:8). For us, there are a ton of people leaving Christianity today and "deconstructing their faith." We can't do this. You can't dismantle the truth of Jesus. There needs to be a commitment to the Scriptures and not a detour from that.
