Ointment Recipe 

• Crushed or chopped herbs
• 8 oz - Sesame (or almond or wheat germ)oil
• 2 oz or 4 tbs - Beeswax 

Optional 

• 1 tsp - Vitamin E
• 1 oz - Lanolin 
• 2 oz - Cocoa (or Shea) butter 

Herbs  

• 12 grams - Zi cao (ruan)/Arnebia euchroma root  or use 
• Hong tiao zi cao/Lithospermum eyrthrorhizon root 
• 12 grams - Dang gui/Angelica sinesis 
• 3 grams - Gan cao/Glycyrrhiza uralensis root

Additions / Modifications 

• 18 grams - Sheng di huang / Rehmannia glutinosa root
• 9 grams - Huang Qin / Scutellaria baicalensis root
