In this episode, we sit down with Jeremy, the driving force behind RP-1, Texas - an initiative dedicated to ending veteran homelessness in the state. We'll talk about the shelter, therapies, and skills training RP-1 provides for veterans, and how the initiative is fostering entrepreneurship and sustainable development.
But that's not all - we'll also discuss the upcoming Ride For Rally Point. While the original ride covered 500 miles, this year's ride will cover another 500 miles, and the RP-1 team is looking for hosts and community organizers along the route.
If you live on or near the RFRP's route, you can help by becoming a host. All you need is ground suitable for Trooper, RP-1's trusty steed, enough room for their truck and trailer, and access to a water hose and electrical outlet. Community organizers can help by finding hosts in their area, arranging meetings with local Veteran Service Organizations, and planning events to support the ride.
