Anupama Chopra is an Indian film critic, journalist, and author known for her insightful coverage of Hindi cinema and the global film industry. She began her career as a journalist with India Today, where she spent more than a decade writing extensively about Bollywood and interviewing major filmmakers and actors. Chopra later became the founder and editor of the digital film platform Film Companion, which focuses on thoughtful film criticism, filmmaker interviews, and craft discussions. She is also the author of several books on Indian cinema, including King of Bollywood: Shah Rukh Khan and the Seductive World of Indian Cinema. Widely respected for her articulate analysis and deep knowledge of film, Chopra has become one of the most recognizable voices in contemporary film criticism.
