Whether you've experienced this in the past from a narcissistic relationship or are currently struggling with your emotions related to taking things personally, I want you to know...it is possible to stop. 

A lot of times we do this because of our programming from childhood and even throughout adulthood. For most people it stems from insecurities and feelings of low self worth. That means, we can change it and start seeing things objectively as information and not take it personally.

Emotional abuse can often cause us to have these feelings of low self worth and the abuser/narcissist has found a lot of success blaming you for everything. What happens is, we create a pattern in our brain that points the finger back to us, even when it isn't our fault or has nothing to do with us at all!
