Today’s episode may be a triggering topic if you are going through a similar experience, so please seek support if you need it.
We often talk about hair loss related to immune system issues or chemotherapy treatment, but something I haven’t discussed on the podcast before is experiencing hair loss in order to undergo a medical treatment.
Tropic Ambassador Helen Chidgey shares her journey through the challenging mental recovery of sudden hair loss pre-treatment, as well as the slow physical recovery, feelings of isolation post-op, and how she discovered a new career and purpose to navigate her life going forward.
Hopefully, this episode will inspire and support anyone going through a similar operation, showing that you are not alone on your journey.
Grab a cuppa—I hope you enjoy the show!
