It's time to bring this conversation forward and get real about the lies women are told about their worth. There are many, but here are the three overarching lies I see women handed - that your worth is dependent on:
1) Your body
2) Motherhood
3) Being likable
You are fed these lies by subtle and not-so-subtle messages from magazines, TV, social media, and real people in your life - who were also fed these lies. When you don't live up to the standard of this lie, you feel bad. Shame ensues. You think you're doing something wrong. You think part of YOU is wrong.
It's not. Nothing was ever wrong with you. The lies are wrong - not you. Your worth was never dependent on anything outside of you. It doesn't matter what your body looks like, whether or not you're a mother, how "likable" you are - or anything else. We'll dive into all of this in today's episode, and:
